\n We provide outpatient care for patients with epilepsy<\/strong> and
\n suspected seizure disorders<\/strong>.
\n Care focuses on understanding seizure events, confirming diagnosis,
\n and providing ongoing management, including medication review.\n <\/p>\n<\/header>\n

When to seek evaluation<\/h2>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

  • Recurrent seizures or convulsive episodes<\/li>\n
  • Episodes of loss of consciousness or sudden collapse<\/li>\n
  • Brief staring episodes or unresponsiveness<\/li>\n
  • Unexplained movements, jerking, or falls<\/li>\n
  • Follow-up after a first seizure or existing diagnosis of epilepsy<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div>\n

    \n Not all seizure-like events are epilepsy. Careful assessment is needed to determine the cause.\n <\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

    At your visit<\/h2>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
    \n

    \n We review your symptoms, medical history, current medications,
    \n and any previous test results. A neurological examination is performed,
    \n and we consider whether further evaluation or follow-up is needed.\n <\/p>\n

    \n Additional testing, such as EEG or imaging, may be arranged when indicated,
    \n but is not required in all cases.\n <\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

    Ongoing care<\/h2>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
    \n

    \n For patients with epilepsy, follow-up focuses on seizure control,
    \n medication adjustment, and monitoring for side effects.
    \n Treatment plans are reviewed and updated based on clinical progress.\n <\/p>\n

    \n If more specialized evaluation is needed, referral to an epilepsy center can be arranged.\n <\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

    When to seek urgent care<\/h2>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
    \n

    \n Seek immediate medical attention if a seizure lasts longer than 5 minutes,
    \n if seizures occur repeatedly without recovery, or if there is associated injury.\n <\/p>\n

    \n In these situations, please contact the Emergency Department without delay.\n <\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

    Appointment<\/h2>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
    \n

    Appointments are required in principle. A referral letter from another medical institution is recommended but not mandatory.<\/p>\n

    \n If available, please bring prior medical records, EEG or imaging reports,
    \n and a list of current medications.\n <\/p>\n
