The primary goal is to evaluate your child&#8217;s condition, determine urgency, and decide the most appropriate next step in care.<\/p>\n<\/header>\n<div class=\"disease-rows\">\n<div class=\"disease-row\">\n<div class=\"disease-row__h\">\n<h2>When to seek assessment<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"disease-row__b\">\n<div class=\"disease-callout\">\n<ul class=\"disease-bullets\">\n<li>Sudden fever or worsening symptoms<\/li>\n<li>Vomiting, diarrhoea, or poor oral intake<\/li>\n<li>Breathing difficulty, wheezing, or persistent cough<\/li>\n<li>Lethargy, unusual behaviour, or severe pain<\/li>\n<li>Concerns after injury or accidental ingestion<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"disease-row\">\n<div class=\"disease-row__h\">\n<h2>What this assessment includes<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"disease-row__b\">\n<p>A clinician evaluates symptoms, vital signs, and overall condition. Basic tests may be arranged when clinically indicated.<\/p>\n<p class=\"disease-muted\">This service is intended for <strong>initial evaluation<\/strong>. Ongoing treatment or specialised care may be recommended at another medical institution depending on findings.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"disease-row\">\n<div class=\"disease-row__h\">\n<h2>Urgent situations<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"disease-row__b\">\n<p>If emergency stabilisation is required, care is coordinated through the Emergency Department.<\/p>\n<p class=\"disease-muted\">If you are unsure whether your child&#8217;s condition is urgent, please contact the Emergency Department first.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"disease-row\">\n<div class=\"disease-row__h\">\n<h2>Appointment<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"disease-row__b\">\n<p>Walk-in visits are accepted in principle.
