We manage both scheduled consultations and urgent cases, including gastrointestinal bleeding and acute biliary or pancreatic conditions. Our team works closely with the Emergency Department and other specialties to provide timely evaluation and treatment when hospitalisation is needed.<\/p>\n
\nOur Endoscopy Centre supports routine endoscopy as well as specialised procedures such as ESD (endoscopic submucosal dissection), ERCP-based interventions, and SpyGlass DS cholangioscopy. The IBD outpatient clinic, established in 2023, provides dedicated long-term management for ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s disease, with over 500 patients currently under active care.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/section>\n
<\/p>\n\nWhen to visit \/ When to call ER<\/h2>\n\n\nVisit this department if:<\/h3>\n\n- You have persistent abdominal pain, nausea, diarrhea, constipation, or unexplained weight loss.<\/li>\n
- You notice blood in vomit or stool (including black stools) or have ongoing anaemia.<\/li>\n
- You have difficulty swallowing, persistent heartburn, or symptoms that may require endoscopy.<\/li>\n
- You have been told you need evaluation or treatment for early gastrointestinal cancer.<\/li>\n
- You have suspected bile duct or gallstone problems (jaundice, recurrent pain, fever) or were told ERCP may be needed.<\/li>\n
- You have inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) or suspect you may have IBD.<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div>\n\n
Call ER immediately if:<\/h3>\n\n- Severe abdominal pain with persistent vomiting, fainting, or signs of shock<\/li>\n
