Diagnostic Performance

The majority of the cases consisted of coronary artery disease, peripheral artery disease of the lower limbs, heart failure, and arrhythmia, though our services also covered a wide range of cardiovascular conditions, including renal artery stenosis, cardiomyopathy, pulmonary hypertension, dialysis shunt failure, and secondary hypertension.

  • 129 catheter ablations, including 54 cryoablation pulmonary vein isolations for atrial fibrillation.

In addition, our department conducted clinical trials for catheter-based renal denervation in patients with treatment-resistant hypertension requiring three or more antihypertensive medications.

  • Target Conditions: Angina, Myocardial Infarction, Aortic Dissection, Pulmonary Embolism
  • Treatment Methods and Details: Our primary approach is medical treatment, but we actively perform catheter-based revascularization and PCI (Percutaneous Coronary Intervention).
  • The availability of standby cardiac surgery ensures that these procedures are performed safely, which is a significant factor contributing to the reliability of our coronary artery treatments on a national level.

Treatment Method: Endovascular Lower Limb Revascularization

  • Target Conditions: Peripheral Artery Disease, Critical Limb Ischemia
  • Treatment Methods and Details: Ischemic symptoms in the lower limbs are common in arteriosclerotic diseases.
  • Our hospital plays a pioneering role in catheter treatments for these conditions in Japan.
  • We conduct numerous educational courses for physicians and also accept doctors from across Asia for training, establishing our hospital as an educational center in this field.

  • Treatment Methods and Details: In collaboration with the Neurosurgery Department, we perform catheter treatments for carotid artery lesions using the latest techniques.

Our hospital has a track record of treating conditions such as acute myocardial infarction, angina pectoris, carotid artery stenosis, renal artery stenosis, peripheral artery disease of the lower limbs, dialysis shunt failure, arrhythmia, and pacemaker implantation.
