Headache and Dizziness Evaluation

What we do
Outpatient evaluation of headache and dizziness

Purpose
Identify serious causes and guide management

Urgent care
Immediate assessment for possible stroke or other emergencies

We evaluate headache and dizziness through neurological assessment.
Based on symptoms and findings, we decide whether further testing, treatment, or follow-up is needed.
When specialised care is required, we arrange referral as appropriate.

Common symptoms

  • Recurring or persistent headache
  • Dizziness or spinning sensation (vertigo)
  • Lightheadedness, unsteadiness, or balance difficulty
  • Nausea associated with headache or dizziness
  • Headache with visual disturbance or sensitivity to light

Seek immediate care if you develop sudden weakness, difficulty speaking, severe confusion,
or a sudden severe headache unlike previous episodes.

At your visit

We review your symptoms, medical history, and medications,
followed by a neurological examination.
Additional tests may be arranged when needed.

The need for testing depends on individual symptoms and clinical findings.

Treatment and follow-up

Management depends on the underlying cause and may include medication,
practical advice, and follow-up as needed.

If specialist care is required, we arrange referral and provide the necessary medical information.

Appointment

Appointments are required in principle. A referral letter from another medical institution is recommended but not mandatory.

If you have prior records (MRI/CT reports, referral letter, medication list), please bring them.

For appointment requests and language support, please see the
Neurology page.
