About Us

The Pediatrics Department at Kishiwada Tokushukai Hospital provides outpatient care for children from infancy through adolescence. We focus on common childhood illnesses, vaccinations, and health checkups for infants and toddlers, while delivering care that is practical for busy families.

Our outpatient services include support for asthma and allergy-related symptoms, as well as guidance for recurring problems such as prolonged cough, fever, vomiting/diarrhoea, skin rashes, and feeding concerns.

Some pediatric conditions require advanced testing or specialised treatment. In such cases, we coordinate with appropriate specialised centres and provide referrals when needed.

When to visit / When to call ER

Visit this department if:

  • Your child has fever, cough, sore throat, vomiting/diarrhoea, rash, ear pain, or other common symptoms.
  • You need routine childhood vaccinations or schedule guidance.
  • You would like an infant/toddler health checkup or growth/development consultation.
  • Your child has recurrent wheezing, suspected asthma, allergies, or eczema flare-ups.
  • You were advised to see Pediatrics after a clinic visit, school/nursery notice, or health screening.

Call ER immediately if:

  • Breathing difficulty, bluish lips/face, or severe wheezing
  • Seizure, loss of consciousness, or unusually difficult to wake
  • Signs of dehydration (very little urine, dry mouth, no tears, persistent vomiting)
  • High fever with stiff neck, severe headache, or purple spots/petechiae
  • Serious injury, suspected fracture, or head injury with repeated vomiting

If you are unsure, please contact the Emergency Department first.
