How insurance arrangements work
- Contact your insurance company first to confirm coverage.
- Your insurance/assistance company contacts our hospital in advance and confirms payment arrangements.
- Cashless handling may be available only after arrangements are confirmed in advance.
INTAC
INTAC is a medical assistance company that coordinates care between insurance providers and medical institutions in Japan.
- Cashless handling may be available only when your insurance/assistance company arranges it in advance.
- Patients cannot request cashless handling by stating INTAC coverage alone.
MS&AD
MS&AD Insurance Group provides travel and international medical insurance services through affiliated assistance networks.
- Cashless handling requires prior arrangement by your insurance/assistance company.
- If not arranged in advance, payment is required at the hospital and reimbursement is handled by the patient.

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash (Japanese Yen only) and major credit cards.
If you plan to use international insurance, please contact your insurance/assistance company before your visit.
When do I pay?
Payment timing varies depending on the examination, treatment, or admission.
In some cases, payment may be requested before services are provided.
A cost estimate can be provided in advance upon request. Our staff will explain the payment process in advance.
Can I pay in a foreign currency or by bank transfer?
No. Payments are accepted in Japanese Yen (JPY) or by credit card. We do not accept foreign currency.
For large amounts, payment by bank transfer in Japanese Yen may be possible in limited cases.
However, confirmation may take time, and payment must be confirmed by 4:30 p.m. on a weekday (Monday–Friday). Please consult our staff in advance.
Can I receive cashless treatment if I show my insurance card?
Not necessarily. Cashless handling is available only when your insurance/assistance company arranges payment in advance and contacts our hospital before your visit.
What happens if my insurance company cannot arrange cashless handling in advance?
You will need to pay at the hospital (cash or credit card), then submit a claim to your insurance company for reimbursement.
