Appointments & Access
Do I need an appointment?
For first-time visits, appointments are not required for the following departments:
- General Internal Medicine
- General Surgery
- Pediatrics
- Urology
- Dermatology
- Dentistry / Oral Surgery
These departments typically accept walk-in patients for initial consultations.
After the first visit, follow-up appointments are usually scheduled as needed.
For other specialty departments, an appointment is required.

Can I visit without a referral letter?
Yes. Patients may visit General Internal Medicine or General Surgery without a referral letter.
If specialised care is required, our physicians will arrange an internal referral after evaluation.
Please note that an additional fee of 7,700 yen (tax included) applies for patients without a referral letter,
in addition to standard fees.
How long is the waiting time on the day of my visit?
Waiting times vary depending on patient volume and clinical priority.
Urgent cases are prioritised.
Please note that patients are not always seen in the order of arrival.

How long does it take to see a specialist?
In many cases, patients are first evaluated in General Internal Medicine or General Surgery.
If specialised care is required, an internal referral will be arranged after evaluation.
Timing depends on clinical priority and availability.
Tests, Procedures & Treatment
How soon can treatment begin after diagnosis?
Once a diagnosis is confirmed, treatment planning begins immediately.
Depending on clinical urgency and availability, procedures may be arranged within a short timeframe.
Can advanced imaging or procedures be arranged on the same day?
When medically indicated and depending on availability, diagnostic tests such as CT, MRI, endoscopy,
or catheter procedures may be coordinated efficiently.
Payment, Insurance & Documents
Can I receive treatment if I am not enrolled in Japanese public health insurance?
Patients who are not enrolled in the Japanese public health insurance system are treated on a
self-pay basis.
Advance consultation and financial arrangements may be required before non-emergency services are provided.
Please contact us in advance to discuss estimated costs and necessary documentation.
Proof of identity and a payment guarantee may be required, depending on the situation.
Emergency cases are handled in accordance with Japanese medical regulations.
Do you provide medical reports in English?
Yes. English medical documentation can be issued upon request (additional fees may apply).

How can I contact the hospital?

Hospital Facilities & General Information
Can I use my mobile phone inside the hospital?
Yes, mobile phones may be used in designated areas.
Please be mindful of others and keep noise to a minimum.
Is there a designated smoking area in the hospital?
Smoking is strictly prohibited throughout the hospital premises.
Where can I eat or shop in the hospital?
While we do not have a restaurant or cafe, there is a small dining area inside the Lawson convenience store
located on the north end of the 1st floor. It is open daily from 7:30 AM to 9:00 PM.
Is there an ATM available?
Yes, an ATM is available inside the Lawson convenience store.
I have suggestions for improving hospital services. Who can I speak with?
We welcome your suggestions. Please contact us using one of the methods below,
or speak with our reception staff during your visit.
Can I give small gifts like chocolates to the hospital staff?
We appreciate the gesture, but hospital policy prohibits staff from accepting any gifts or money from patients.
