Referral Coordination

Our role
Initial assessment and care coordination
Care flow
Assessment → direction → appropriate facility
Why this matters
Avoid delays and ensure the right level of care

Pediatric care often involves multiple medical institutions working together. Children presenting with urgent or concerning symptoms are first assessed to determine immediate needs and clinical direction.

Initial assessment and next steps

We evaluate symptoms and overall condition to determine urgency and the most appropriate next step — whether continued outpatient care, admission, or further evaluation at another institution.

Why coordination is important

Some conditions benefit from specialist input, advanced testing, or facilities dedicated to pediatric inpatient care. We share relevant clinical information to support continuity of care whenever possible.

Urgent situations

For urgent or severe symptoms, initial assessment is performed promptly. If emergency stabilisation is required, care is coordinated through the Emergency Department.

If you are unsure, please contact the Emergency Department first.

Appointment

Walk-in visits are accepted in principle.

For contact routes, please refer to the Pediatrics page.
