Dr. Hiroyuki Matsumoto has been serving as the Chief of Neurosurgery at Kishiwada Tokushukai Hospital since April 2013, following his tenure at Wakayama Medical University.With over 20 years of experience in treating strokes, Dr. Matsumoto has witnessed remarkable advancements in medical technology, particularly in the development of minimally invasive surgical techniques aimed at reducing the physical burden on patients. His mission is to bring cutting-edge stroke treatment to the Senshu region, ensuring that patients can receive safe, advanced care.
Dr. Matsumoto is also dedicated to educating the public about stroke care. Under his leadership, the neurosurgery department has created an informational booklet titled *The Frontline of Stroke Care*, which aims to help patients better understand the condition.
Akemi Fukano brings over 20 years of nursing experience to her role as Chief Nursing Officer
at Kishiwada Tokushukai Hospital. She has built a diverse and accomplished career, serving
in various leadership roles within home and community care, research, academia, regulation,
and professional practice environments. Her hands-on experience spans critical care and
education within professional associations. For the past 15 years, Ms. Fukano has focused on
nursing leadership, overseeing teams and departments specializing in Medical/Surgical,
Critical Care, and Case Management. Passionate about education, she remains committed to
advancing the field of nursing by supporting both professional development and high
standards of patient care.
Hideto Kanazawa is the Chief Administrative Officer at Kishiwada Tokushukai Hospital, where
he oversees a workforce of over 1,000 employees. The hospital provides care for more than
200,000 patients annually, particularly serving the Senshu area. Mr. Kanazawa is responsible
for a wide range of administrative functions including operations, enterprise risk
management, facilities management, finance, human resources, information technology,
security, and strategic planning. His leadership ensures that the hospital maintains its
