Common Childhood Illnesses

What we do
First-line evaluation and treatment for common childhood illnesses
Our focus
Safe assessment, symptom relief, and home-care guidance
When to escalate
Timely referral if specialised pediatric care is needed

The Pediatrics Department provides outpatient care for common childhood illnesses. We focus on initial evaluation, symptom management, and clear guidance for home care. When a condition requires specialised pediatric treatment, we coordinate referral to appropriate medical centres.

Conditions we commonly see

  • Fever, cough, runny nose, and sore throat
  • Common respiratory infections (colds, influenza)
  • Vomiting, diarrhoea, and mild dehydration
  • Skin rashes and mild allergic reactions
  • General discomfort or symptoms causing parental concern

We do not provide specialised pediatric subspecialty care. If advanced evaluation is required, we will arrange referral promptly.

What happens at your visit

A pediatrician will assess your child’s symptoms, medical history, and overall condition. Basic tests such as blood tests, urine tests, or imaging may be arranged when clinically necessary.

Home-care guidance

We provide clear explanations on symptom management at home, including fever control, hydration, and when to return for medical attention.

Appointment

Walk-in visits are accepted in principle. For contact routes, please refer to the Pediatrics page.
